Marheba! Welcome to the house of friends. Habiba means close friend in arabic and at Dar Habiba our aim is for you to arrive as a guest, and leave as a friend.
Dar Habiba is a beautiful traditional Riad in a great location with a full range of home comforts. But what really makes us different, and fantastic value for money, is the small team of dedicated staff who will be on hand to help, reassure and advise throughout your stay. Dar Habiba has only six guest rooms, so we can provide a truly personal service.
We invite you to step through the door of our beautiful private Riad set in the very heart of old Marrakech. Once inside you will find a charming, traditional Riad that provides a safe and relaxing environment. Your Oasis of calm just minutes from the hubub of the main Marrakech Square.
Dar Habiba is situated within the old Jewish district, known as the Mellah. The call to prayer is a constant of Medina life punctuating the daily routine five times, from dawn till dusk. In this location you will not be woken in the morning because the mosques are a little more distant.
It is the small things that count: complimentary toiletries; breakfast served at the time of your choice; delicious evening meals individually prepared to your taste and dietary requirements; Wifi; a complimentary map of the old town; help booking restaurants and excursions; nothing is too much trouble. We are pleased to offer the loan of a local pay-as-you-go mobile to stay in touch with your English speaking hosts while you are out exploring. Our reliable transfer service can bring you from the airport to the Riad where you be welcomed with mint tea and given a chance to familiarise yourself with the location and surrounding attractions.
Make contact today to check room availability or make a reservation. If your preferred dates appear not to be able available at Dar Habiba don’t worry, we can often reschedule to accommodate requests, or we would love to welcome you one of the three other boutique hotels in our Marrakech Riad collection. Riad Papillon is an intimate Riad with a bohemian feel, Riad Cinnamon is an impressive restored merchants house, Riad Spice is a sixteenth century home owned by the same family for seventeen generations and Riad Star was formerly the guest wing of a Royal Palace.
